The one constant through all of my years, has been baseball. (Bonus points if you got the reference there!). I spent 16 years as a team photographer, in Miami and Texas, respectively. After nine years in Texas, I moved back to South Florida to start my own photography business. I'm incredibly fortunate to still work in and around a game that I love, shooting portraits, events and game action. The relationships that the game has afforded me have turned into lasting friendships, not to mention engagement shoots, maternity sessions and weddings for various colleagues, athletes and front office staff. In short, I'm sort of a utility player and I don't plan on niching down anytime soon.

Every marketing professional will tell you that you need to 'niche down', that you can't 'do it all' because you'll never build a clientele that way.

When I got my foot in the door, I quickly realized that if I was going to succeed, I needed to learn a whole lot more than sports action photography. I was thrown into various situations early in my career; namely a corporate event featuring photos with the legendary Miami Dolphins Coach Shula, who only allowed one flash photo per attendee. (No pressure!) An intern at the time, I was terrified as I barely knew how to use my flash, but that was definitely one way to speed up the learning process!
The variety of work kept coming; I was shooting everything from corporate events including national sales meetings and incentive trips, to architecture and construction site work, charity golf tournaments, portraits, products, families and weddings alike. I had the pleasure of working with people from all walks of life and every new experience was a learning opportunity that helped me become a better photographer.
